In Flanders, AMNorman is THE partner for competence development, advice and training. We are active in quality management and product development within the (animal) food industry, the packaging industry, logistics and retail.

The Normanists

Our consultants, known as the Normanists, are happy to guide you. With their extensive experience in the food industry, the animal feed sector, product development and quality management, they are the ideal partner to advise, support and train.

There is still a place for you in our food team.

Food expert wanted

Your responsibilities

  • Based in Flanders;
  • Carrying out and following up internal audits at our clients;
  • Guiding food companies through the implementation of food safety standards (such as BRCGS, IFS, FSSC 22000 and the sector guides for self-checking);
  • Helping clients make an impact in quality, food safety and hygiene;
  • Reviewing existing quality systems or building new ones, without losing sight of the legal and normative requirements;
  • Thinking along with the client and proactively proposing improvements.

About you

  • You hold a higher education degree or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • You have at least two years of relevant experience in the food industry.
  • Your colleagues would describe you as a creative, mature personality with a goal-oriented, hands-on mentality: communicative, diplomatic, modest yet self-confident, and reliable.
  • You also have strong process-analytical skills and technical insight.
  • You are hungry to learn and keen to broaden your knowledge of other sectors, standards and legislation.
  • A fundamental interest in the legal aspects of the food sector is a must, and you do everything you can to build up this knowledge quickly.
  • As if that were not enough, you are also familiar with software applications and punctual with administration.

Still keen? Then read on: we have plenty more in store for you.

We are happy to welcome you into a reliable, close-knit team that commits itself every day with passion and a sense of responsibility.

We care about the person behind the colleague

  • Flexible hours and control over your own schedule;
  • Option to work from home;
  • Clients in your own region;
  • Sport@work: participation in Gusto Sportivo and various group activities;
  • A buddy who guides, helps and supports you where needed.

An offer too good to turn down

  • Guided by the planning and management, you work independently. You will not find a hierarchical structure here. You decide when and how you organise your work, as long as the client is satisfied.
  • You work in a tailored way and on site at the client. Depending on your own preferences and needs, you can work mainly with regular clients or in a very varied way.
  • The more interest and expertise you bring, the better you can support the client, so lifelong learning definitely has its place with us. Knowledge is also shared within your team and across the organisation.
  • We provide extensive in-house training and a competitive salary package with meal vouchers (€8), a company car, laptop, mobile phone and 12 compensatory rest days (based on a 40-hour week).
  • Besides your responsibilities, we think it is just as important that you feel at home and, above all, have fun at work!

May we welcome you as our new Normanist?

Delivering advice and quality to the client is what every Normanist strives for. As a team, we invest every day in broadening our expertise across different fields.
