What does a day in the life of a Normanist look like? Discover Nora's story, labelling consultant.
What is your role within AMNorman?
Nora: “I've been working at AMNorman for 6 months as a labelling specialist. That means checking labels for compliance with legislation. You wouldn't expect there to be so much legislation behind it, but I keep surprising my family with facts about logos and claims. I always grab a piece of packaging and explain it all to them. That's what's so great about it: there's always something new to learn, even about the most basic things.”
What do you enjoy most about working at AMNorman?
Nora: “My colleagues. Whether I'm in the office or at a client's site, I can always count on my colleagues' help. That teamwork is there at every moment, whether I'm physically with them or not. Since my very first day, I've had that sense of trust, knowing I always have a team behind me.”
What's a memorable moment in your career?
Nora: “After a few days working at a client, I always look forward to catching up with my colleagues again. It gives me so much energy. Thanks to them, I look forward to starting the next week with a fresh perspective and new insights.”

What has been a memorable moment in your career?
Nora: “I can't think of one specific moment straight away, but I can describe a feeling. If I've had a challenging week, for example, I still get loads of energy at the end of the week during our catch-up with my colleagues. That means I can round off my week well and start the next one full of enthusiasm. I always come away with a fresh perspective and new insights, which motivates me enormously.”
How would you describe AMNorman's company culture?
Nora: “Like a family. Plenty of people can listen, but at AMNorman I really feel heard. That's because you're a Normanist, one of them, one of us, and then you feel heard.”
What would you like to say to future Normanists?
Nora: “I'm used to a big family. So for me: the bigger, the better!”
