What do you enjoy most about working at AMNorman?

Ruben: “On one hand, I really enjoy the closeness between colleagues. We're a tight-knit group where everyone belongs. On the other hand, from a work perspective, it's great to be a bit of a job-hopper. You end up at lots of different companies, in lots of different locations, and you see a lot. Every day is different, and that's what makes it interesting.”

What's a memorable moment in your career?

Ruben: “The most memorable moment this year was without doubt Camp Norman. The whole team headed to Hastière to spend a few days together. We did some team building, but there was also plenty of time to relax. Everyone slept together in dormitories, which definitely made it a great bonding experience.”

How would you describe AMNorman's company culture?

Ruben: “I've been working at AMNorman for a while now, and when people ask me why I'm ‘still’ working at the same company, I start talking about the great atmosphere. People listen to you as a person and you get plenty of opportunities to develop yourself. For example, you can say that you're interested in certain topics and then grow in them, together with the company. That's why I'm ‘still’ at AMNorman, and will probably stay for many years to come.”

When people ask me why I'm ‘still’ working at the same company,

I start talking about the great atmosphere.

What would you like to say to future Normanists?

Ruben: “It's always nice to meet new faces, and especially the person behind them. Whether you've just left school or already have experience doesn't matter. Feel free to drop by!”
